My first ebike, the Boar ... I had a few doubts, now all dispelled! The torque sensor works great, the longevity of the battery is reasonable (don't use it constantly on power setting 5, it's not worth it and it kills your battery, power setting 3 gets you the best range with strong power, power setting 1 is perfect when cycling with non-ebikes as it basically just offsets the weight of the motor and battery). Sturdy and capable, with studded tires it easily conquers the roads and the trails of Alaska. I like how it is a perfect utility urban cargo bike and doubles equally easy into an adventure bike.
I like the hub motor, maybe it's less sporty but makes the shifting so much easier (the power from the motor does not go through the drivetrain). I'm hard pressed to find something I don't like about this bike (especially considering the price), so I won't.
